Lawrence Barber allegedly slams puppy against concrete wall...repeatedly Larry Barber is another fine piece of work, hailing from the Tampa Bay area.  8845 52nd St. North, in Pinellas Park to be exact.  Mr. Barber is charged with taking his puppy by the collar and slamming him repeatedly into a concrete wall.  These actions allegedly happened on May 10th.  The entire story follows the information below.  If you'd like to get his side of the story, you can always call him at 727-545-5263.  Larry Barber just celebrated his 32nd birthday on April 22nd.  Help make his belated gift an extended stay in the slammer.  Please write a letter to the Judge and the State Attorney, and ask that: Mr. Barber be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and proper punishment to be his sentence, should he be found guilty; Mr. Barber should not be allowed to have companion animals in his immediate presence or control in the future, should he be found guilty; Mr. Barber should complete an anger management course, should he be found guilty. Lawrence Jay Barber, 32, of 8845 52nd St. N., was charged with cruelty to an animal, according to an arrest affidavit. Barber was at his residence Friday when he held the small dog by its collar and slammed it into the wall, causing the dog to bleed, the affidavit says. It does not list the puppy's condition. Barber was being held Saturday at the Pinellas County Jail with bail set at $5,000.
