Some things you should know before you choose your new best friend.
Do you have space in your home and your heart? Can you foster a homeless animal? VOCAL needs you! We'll pay medical, food, supplies...we just need your space and caring hands. All foster homes are subject to approval...we don't send animals to just anyone.
A new Petland in Tampa. Waters Avenue has the dubious "honor" of hosting this venue of cruelty. Puppy mills suck, and so does Petland. Their pups are from The Hunte Corporation, and some of the worst "kennels" and "breeders" out there. DoBoTri? Sundowner? Honeydew? Best Friends? I Love My Puppy? Partners in misery! Besides, 10 million companion animals will die in our nation's shelters this year. By selling puppies, Petland is responsible for the deaths of a good number of them.
The Petland logo is a registered trademark of Petland, Inc. Petland uses this logo to sell puppies from puppy mills. We hope you learn to recognize this symbol of cruelty.

New animals arrived. 2 emaciated dogs living on 3 foot chains...a sweet girl that spent most of her life in sewage, getting beaten, a couple strays...Hey, if VOCAL doesn't help them, they die. They're sweet, great dogs that just need a little time, a little love, a little patience, and a chance.
UPDATE: Both of these wonderful dogs have been adopted into incredible homes.
Poor Gunther. Thrown through a glass table by a coward named Jeffrey Kirby. Take a look at this sweet dog, and help us put Kirby behind bars for a good long time.
UPDATE: GOOD NEWS, BAD NEWS
The good news: Gunther has been adopted.
The bad news: Kirby was found "not guilty." At least every time this upstanding citizen goes to apply for a job, or any other activity that a question of morality enters the picture, he gets to disclose his "felony animal cruelty" charges.
