Sadly, if you take a good look, you'll see that so many of the big names are here...Chanel, Ralph Lauren (Polo), Calvin Klein, Versace, Gucci, Prada...

Be a whisper or be a scream...just be a voice. Be vocal. |
Remember, every action you take, every purchase you make, sends a message to those that can and will adhere to the demands of the consumer. Choose cruelty-free, take a stand, be a voice...be VOCAL. |

Fur. Everyone knows where fur comes from. Animals. Animals that are stomped, anally electrocuted, gassed, clubbed or strangled to death, simply to provide the "affluent" masses with another item to prove how posh, sophisticated and rich they are. Little do these small folks know that they are looked upon, en masse, as ignorant and selfish louts, lacking in taste and decor. The sad thing is that the predominant sex of the fur wearer is female...the alleged "softer" and more compassionate sex. What they fail to see is that by wearing cruelty personified, they are proving that they lack the very things that make a woman a lady...heart and compassion.
Fur has made, or is at least trying to make, a comeback. Designers have irresponsibly decided that the time has come to reintroduce fur as a fashionable "material". Disgusting. VOCAL has created a list of designers currently using fur in his/her/their designs. We firmly believe that ANY designer that uses fur is reprehensible, and shouldn't receive any of your hard-earned dollars. Yes, a boycott is in order of any and all products made, created, marketed and/or designed by these designers and their respective companies and stores. If you're buying clothes from these designers, you're supporting their trade. If you're buying cologne, bath products or any item with their names on the tags, boxes or receipts, you're telling them that it's okay to use fur. Please, when you purchase goods, please send a message to these companies that it IS NOT acceptable to use fur, sell fur, design with fur nor promote fur in any way shape or form. |
