Dog parks are the newest rage amongst people who love their canine family members.  These parks are a great way to get out with your dog(s), spend some time in the sun, and let your dog do what he or she does best...be a dog.  Running, playing, jumping, socializing...things that your dog craves are all available at your nearest dog park!

Remember that a Dog Park is only as nice as the community helps to make it.  Help keep any and all local dog parks pet-friendly.  You can help:


*Support legislation to create and maintain pet-friendly areas;

*Keep the parks clean and litter free;

*Poop-scoop after your dog(s);

*If your animal is less friendly, keep him on a leash or keep him at home until he's ready for this type of socialization;

*"Leash-free" is only for designated areas.  Otherwise, keep your pet under leash control at all times;

*If your children accompany you to a dog park, please be mindful of their activity at all times.  Teach them the proper way to appreciate strange dogs;

*If you see someone mistreating their dog, or have reason to believe that someone is mistreating their dog at home, for goodness' sake...call somebody.
