Davis Island Dog Park weather

It's finally here...a fenced in, beach play area for Tampa folks to bring their furry friends to romp and play.- See how far that green grass goes?  Yup, the park extends all the way around to those breakers in the distance.

A huge parking area, room for the two-legged patrons to sit and soak up the sun, a doggie shower...what more could you ask for?

Some dogs are more prone to "life guard duty", and stick to the beach...

...while others practically refuse to get out of the water.

These 2 retrievers were officially classified as "fish" by the end of the day.  They swam...and swam...and swam.  Ask them if they had a great time!!!

This was this big fella's first time at the dog beach.  He was a little confused when he ran into the water and realized he wasn't running across it.  He seems to be thinking, "I don't understand...but I like it."

To get to the Davis Island Dog Park, head over to Davis Island, and aim for the Peter O. Knight Airport.  Keeping the airport on your left, loop all the way around until you get to water.  You're likely there.
